- Please allot 1 hour 30 minutes.
A basic tuning is an appropriate choice for a piano tuned in the last year or so.
If it’s been longer than a year or two then it likely needs a pitch correction. In that case, choose the Full Service Appointment.
Full Service Appointment
- Full Tuning at A440 Concert Pitch
- Pitch Correction Pre-Tuning, if necessary
- Simple Repairs, if needed (including sticking keys)
- Regulation & Voicing with remaining time
- Pedal Adjustments, if necessary
- Bench Tightening, if possible
- Cabinet Wipe-Down & Key Sanitizing
- Please allot 2 hours 15 minutes.
A Full Service Appointment is the way to go. This is 2 hours and 15 minutes of focused time doing what your piano needs most. This usually includes a tuning and often a pitch correction, with time leftover for simple repairs and optimizations like voicing and regulation. This allows me to not only maintain your piano but to improve it.
